Currency

The official currency of Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah.

Vaccinations

Vaccination needs are subject to change, and it is advised that you check with your GP at least 2 months before you travel to allow enough time for advice and appointments to be booked. Some vaccinations need to be administered at specific times before entering some countries, so please make sure you plan nice and early so you can enjoy your planned travel!

Best time to travel

March to November offer tropical to moderate temperatures and usually avoids the rainy season.

Average temperatures

The temperatures range from 23°C to 33°C, offering a comfortable and tropical climate throughout the year.

There are many activities to keep children entertained, from the beautiful beaches to luxurious walks, water parks and animal sanctuaries, children will have many stories to share with their friends.

Airlines

Airlines – due to the distance, you would need to have a stop-over enroute to Bali. The best stop-over cities are Dubai and Singapore, you can spend at least 2-days immersed in culture before you continue your journey to Bali. Alternatively, there is a short transit option via Kuala Lumpur.
The airlines that can take you are: British Airways, Emirates, Malaysia Airlines, Thai, Qatar Airways, and the options are increasing!

Typical itinerary (for 7 night)

Day 1

Visit the sacred springs of Tirta Empul Temple, where you will learn about the Balinese culture and have the option to experience a traditional blessing ritual on an immersive adventure.

Day 2

The Bali Safari Park has over 120 species, including rare & endangered species like the Komodo Dragons, Orangutan, Bali Starling bird, and many more. Enjoy a 4×4 Jeep Safari, feed Lions, Zebras and Tigers or even take an Elephant ride through the safari. Every one of your senses will be engaged in this immersive experience.

Day 3

Spend a day touring the 3 most beautiful waterfalls around Ubud – Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan. Immerse in the beautiful Balinese Hindu culture, explore traditional cuisines, and enjoy souvenir shopping.

Day 4

Enjoy a splash at the Waterbom water park, filled with exciting and thrilling rides across 9 acres of land, adults and children are sure to have the most amazing time.

Day 5

Take part in a Balinese cooking class in a local village and truly immerse yourself in the Balinese culture and treat your family to a new cultural dish when you return home.
